Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued a notice to One8 Commune, a bar and restaurant co-owned by cricket star Virat Kohli, near the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The establishment is accused of violating fire safety regulations by operating without necessary approvals, including a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and fire department clearance.
The notice was prompted by a complaint filed by social activist H.M. Venkatesh, leading the BBMP health division in Shantinagar to take action.
Notice Details:
Previously, a notice was issued to the establishment, but no response was received. As a result, the BBMP has issued a second notice, demanding a written explanation. The authorities warned that failure to comply would result in strict legal action against the restaurant.
