Bengaluru Airport to now provide real-time waiting period for travelers

The Kempegowda International Airport will now have a tech-enabled Queue Management System for the purpose of reducing the waiting period, improving the efficiency of operations and for improvising the management of passengers amid the peak flying hours.

The Xovis PTS, decked for passenger management system will have the feature of showing the live waiting period for a flight on various screens throughout the airport. The Xovis 3D sensors will be storing the record of passenger flow coordinates at departure gates along with details like check-in, immigration, Security hold sects of domestic flights and international fights along with visa sections.

The whole objective of displaying the waiting period is reduce the stress of the passengers travelling amid peak hours.
