In a span of nearly two days, the city of Bengaluru made the provisions of two additional Covid-19 care centres which will have 240 beds for the treatment of asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients of Covid-19.
The 14-bed facility had an inauguration ceremony on Friday, the other centre with 100 beds to be instituted on Saturday.
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa conducted the inauguration of the new Covid-19 care centre which is based near Indiranagar’s Swami Vivekananda metro station at the Endocrinology Centre.
Likewise, the 100-bed facility placed at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, located near St John’s Road, East Zone, will be launched by Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai along with Karnataka Housing Minister V Somanna on Saturday.
