The victim, identified as Rajkumar, a resident of Kudukmpur Hills in Vasant Vihar, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday after a minor scuffle with classmates. The incident triggered protests outside Chinmaya Vidyalaya, with hundreds gathering to demand justice.
CCTV Footage Reveals Incident
The police revealed that CCTV footage from the school showed a group of boys involved in a fight earlier that morning. “We have arrested a 12-year-old boy from the same class as the victim under Section 105 of the Indian Penal Code (offense akin to culpable homicide not amounting to murder),” a police official said.
