A 53-year old government doctor, Dr. Ravindranath MH, worked as a reproductive and child health (R CH) care officer retorted to driving auto-rickshaws for living due to conflicts with IAS officers.
His critical condition was reported by media a few days ago. Dr. Ravindranath mentioned that his troubles increased after he refused to help an IAS officer. He had filed a contempt petition and his hearing was scheduled for Friday (September 11). Just a day before the hearing, his requests for transfer have been met. Minister of Health and Family Welfare & Backward Classes Welfare for Karnataka, B Sriramulu has acknowledged the government doctor’s problems and resolved the transfer requests.
In a series of tweets, Sriramulu has written, “District R CH Officer Dr. The media reports that MH Rabindranath was driving an auto for life maintenance in Davanagere was heard by senior officials”
