New Traffic Rules on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway
In light of the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana taking place in Mandya from December 20 to 23, temporary changes have been implemented on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway for three days. These changes are aimed at facilitating the movement of visitors and the general public. The new traffic routes have been announced under the orders of District Commissioner Dr. Kumar.

Rules for Service Roads
Two-way traffic on the service roads between Chikkamandya and Hanakere has been prohibited. Vehicles coming from Maddur and Srirangapatna can use the expressway for travel.
Free Bus Service
To assist attendees, free bus services have been arranged from the KSRTC bus station to the event venue.
School and College Holidays
In view of the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, December 20 and 21 have been declared holidays for all government and aided schools and colleges in Mandya district. This decision was made to accommodate participants and provide lodging facilities at school premises for the event.
Purpose of the Sammelana
The Kannada Sahitya Sammelana aims to promote literary interest and awareness about the Kannada language and culture. Various sessions focusing on literature, traditions, and heritage will take place, encouraging students, teachers, and the public to enhance their knowledge by participating in the event. Adjustment of Holidays
