Uttar Prdaesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued orders to all the magistrates in the state (DMs) on Monday for covering up for the most number of beneficiaries with respect to the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi Yojna (PM SVANidhi Scheme) by enforcing it as the priority and mission mode.
Yogi further instructed the Chief Secretary to periodically assess and analyze the development with the help of which the street vendors will be able to attain their working capital till the estimation of Rs. 10,000 with subsidy in the rate of interest.
Addressing the issue at a virtual conference, Yogi spoke to the DMs and other officials about receiving 5.57 lakh applications, which is the most number of applications in the country.
Adityanath further said 2.83 lakh applications were given the approval and the loan has been dispensed to 99,000 beneficiaries from there.
Yogi told the officials, “Ensure to get more than five lakh applications and distribute loans to at least three lakh beneficiaries within the next one week.” He further revealed PM Modi will hold a discussion with the beneficiaries from different towns and cities scheduled on October 27 and directed the officials to make the necessary arrangements.
Regarding the Ayushman Bharat Yojna, the UP CM instructed the officials to circulate the golden cards to all the beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat and the CM Jan Aarogya Schemes by November 1.
He further issued the orders to align the arrangements at the purchase centres according to the convenience of the farmers and also directed to increase the number of centres based on the enhanced requirement and to ensure that farmers do not have to sell their paddy produce at a price below the MSP.
