Bill Collector Caught Red-Handed Accepting ₹40,000 Bribe in Mysuru

Mysuru: A bill collector was caught red-handed by the Lokayukta while accepting a ₹40,000 bribe for approving property documents and construction plans in Mysuru.

The accused, identified as Dinesh, had allegedly demanded a total bribe of ₹2 lakh for the approval. He was apprehended while accepting an advance payment of ₹40,000.

The operation was conducted under the guidance of Lokayukta SP T.J. Udesh, with Inspector Ravikumar leading the trap. A middleman, Chandan, who assisted Dinesh in the bribery process, was also detained.READ THIS-₹100 Crore Scam: Chinese Citizen Arrested in Delhi
