CCB informs Karnataka HC about the evidences obtained from Aditya Alva’s residence

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials have informed the Karnataka High Court regarding the convicting evidence obtained of drugs pertaining to the drug racket case at the residence of Aditya Alva.

In response to the Aditya’s petition, the statement of objections registered, CCB revealed about obtaining MDMA pills, marijuana and other materials related to drugs while raiding his residence in September. The High Court has assigned the case for November 13.

Aditya had registered a petition in September for quelling the FIR citing the complaint registered had unqualified allegations and no reference about committing a cognizable offence. His petition further declared that Aditya works as a realtor and holds a post graduate degree in international diplomacy and international law from the SOAS college in London and a bachelor’s degree from University of San Francisco.

The son of ex-minister Jeevaraj Alva, Aditya, also the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been filed as an accused in the advancing drugs case.

CCB issues notice to Priyanka Alva

CCB has directed a notice to Vivek Oberoi’s wife, Priyanka Alva, for two times in a row for interrogation about Aditya’s engagement with the drugs case. From the time the case has been filed, the officials are not able to trace Aditya.

Meanwhile, CCB investigated Priyanka and Vivek’s Mumbai residence on Thursday suspecting it as Aditya’s hideout. Tge police officials have sent a second notice to Priyanka on October 20 to appear for the questioning.
