The Delhi High Court on Tuesday has approved the bail for 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi, who was arrested in Bengaluru on February 13 over a Google document toolkit case, iterating that there was not enough material for keeping the 22-year old in police custody.

Dharmendra Rana, the additional judge who reserved the order on Saturday, has set Disha free with bail approval, however making the condition of her furnishing two bonds worth Rs 1 lakh each. The court also issued her an order to accordingly cooperate with the ongoing investigation and that she should not leave the country.

The Delhi Police had initiated the investigation post Swedish activist Greta Thunberg had posted the toolkit on Twitter accidentally, revealing the complete plan about supporting the farmers who were protesting to repeal the farm laws.

While issuing the order, the judge said, “considering the scanty and sketchy evidence, I do not find any palpable reason to deny bail to Disha.”

Disha, alongside, was also presented prior to the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma post one-day of additional custodial interrogation.

Earlier, the court had raised a few questions about the involvement of Disha with the Republic Day Violence.
