Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will be holding a series of meetings with different MLAs of Bharatiya Janta Party from 11 am to 8 pm scheduled for Monday (Jan 4). On Sunday, a core committee meeting of BJP was organized at Shivamogga, which also had present Karnataka party-in-charge Arun Singh.
The Chief Minister is planning to discuss the upcoming budget and the organization of the party for the state in the meeting held today and also address and make an attempt to resolve the grievances of the MLAs, according to the sources.
The issues are being addressed with the emerging discontent among the state’s MLAs who were reported talking about the change in the leadership in Karnataka after January 15.
Earlier on Friday, D KShivkumar, President, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee said, “Yediyurappa’s own MLAs are saying that there will be a leadership change in the state after January 15. It clearly shows that everything is not well in the government. Yediyurappa is certifying himself again and again that he will remain as chief minister for another two and a half years. This shows everything is not well.”
For the time slot from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Yediyurappa has scheduled the meetings with MLAs of the Kalyana Karnataka region which comprises of MLAs from Chikmagalur, Davanagere, Uttara Kannada, Hassan, Shivamogga , Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Ramnagar, Mysore and Kodagu. Following which, the time slot from 2:30 to 4:00 will be alloted for Central region of Karnataka, after which representatives based in central Karnataka regiona nd districts bordering Mumbai for the slot till 6:00.The Coastal region will have the final slot from 6:30 to 8:00 in the meeting with Yediyurappa.
