The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools of Karnataka has passed an appeal to all member schools for reducing the fee and giving concessions to the students.

While addressing the member schools, the General Secretary of the Association gave a recommendation of cutting down the fees of the students after chalking down the expenses. Shashi Kumar, General Secretary of the Association said, “There are some heads where the school managements can actually consider reducing the fee. For instance, the transportation fee and special development fees can be considered for concession.”

Kumar further added, “Some of our member schools have already considered fee concessions and announced 25% reduction in the fees.”

The association proposed the recommendation based on the reports which stated some schools have been asking for complete payment.

Alongside, a group of parents had commenced a small protest in front of a private school in Bengaluru on Tuesday accusing them of asking for the complete fees for the term.

The parents were even complaining about the school’s act of blocking the access to online classes of students who had not paid the full fees and barred them from the sessions of online class.
