Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday appreciated the efforts of India regarding fighting the Covid-19 pandemic and iterated about the overall approach of the country to not give up and always focus on moving ahead by being pro-active and enormous public participation.
While addressing the global forum, PM Modi stated, “India has been successful in saving so many lives, we saved the entire humanity from a big tragedy. India launched the world’s biggest vaccination programme and has inoculated more than 2.3 million healthcare workers in the last 12 days.”
Modi further spoke about how India as a nation has helped the global community by giving adequate training and providing vaccines.
He said, “India has made rapid strides in four pillars of Industry 4.0 (or Fourth Industrial Revolution-using technology): Connectivity, automation, Artificial intelligence and real-time data.”
While speaking at the World Economic Forum, PM Modi promised the global community that India’s success will be a breakthrough for the entire world. Narendra Modi addressed the World Economic Forum’s Davos Dialogue via the mode of virtual conferencing.
Earlier, a statement released from Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the Davos Dialogues agenda will invoke the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset Initiative for the post-Covid world. The sessions will be attended by over 400 top industry leaders from different parts of the world. Some of the world leaders include Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron, Chinese President Xi Jinping, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have been a part of WEF where they have put forth discussion on a range of topics about the nations.
