A review meeting is likely to be scheduled on September 23 between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of 7 states for analyzing and discussing over the present status of the Coronavirus in the country.
From the seven states, the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh will be attending the scheduled review meet.
Presently, the country has exceeded the 54 lakh mark and around 92,605 infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has been raised to 79.68 % with nearly 94,612 people having recovery in the last 24 hours.
The total death count in the country due to Covid-19 is 86,752 and around 10,10,824 are the number of active cases.
The Prime Minister had earlier held a meeting on August 11 with the Chief Ministers and representatives of the most affected states which includes Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab and Bihar.
