PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the three key petroleum projects in Bihar estimated to cost over 900 crores. PM Modi mentioned that Bihar’s administration has been exemplary in ensuring that the government schemes reach out to the people in the state.
In the inauguration ceremony, he spoke, “In the last 15 years Bihar has shown that if the right government is elected in a state, benefits of government’s schemes can reach its people.”
The 3 key projects include Durgapur – Banka section of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur Pipeline Augmentation Project and two projects include two Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Bottling Plants in Banka and Champaran, as per the data provided by the PTI.
The two LPG plants will have the ability to fill gas cylinders for districts of Bihar but also for districts of Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh as well, PM mentioned.
In the virtual inauguration ceremony, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan and deputy CM Sushil Modi were present.
PM Modi said, “We do not live in the age where one generation saw the inauguration of a project and another generation saw its completion. New India and New Bihar believes in fast-paced development.”
“You can look at any sector in India – education, income tax, labour or healthcare. The contribution of Bihar in every sector is clearly visible. Bihar has assisted India in its growth,” He added.
