Poland to resume the shops from Nov 28, though spike in Covid-19 cases

Poland plans to open up the Trade Centres and shops commencing from November 28, which will be followed by complying to the norms of preventing the contagion of Covid-19 infections, as announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Poland, in the month of November, has recorded 27,875 cases on regular basis with 637 fatalities. Presently, considering the situation, all shops are closed.

In a press conference, Morawiecki stated, “We have decided that starting next Saturday, trade centres will operate in the highest sanitary regime.”

“We are starting these 100 days of solidarity, which will help us survive the coming months. We have 100 days of solidarity ahead, at the end of which, we will most likely to be vaccinated.”

He further added the gyms and fitness centres, cinemas, concert halls, would continue to remain closed. Earlier, in the beginning of November, the restrictions were increased , though the entire territory of Poland was termed as ‘red zone’ with gatherings of over five people prohibited and public places additionally shut.
