Due to continuous rainfall in Mandya and Mysuru districts and a precautionary alert issued by the Meteorological Department, a holiday has been declared for Anganwadi, schools, and pre-university colleges (up to 2nd PUC) on December 3, 2024 (Tuesday).
In Mandya, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kumar announced the decision, which applies to all government, private, and aided institutions. Similarly, in Mysuru, Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikant Reddy has issued a similar order.
The education department has directed the Deputy Directors of Education to reschedule the academic activities of this holiday on subsequent government holidays.
