Shri Kshetra Dharamasthala Rural Development Project will provide 20,000 tabs to the students

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, D Veerendra Heggade, while addressing the 53rd Vardhanthi celebrations revealed the further plan based on the Dharamsthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), said that 20,000 tabs and 10,000 laptops at an estimation of Rs. 21 crore will be provided to the students. Also, as per the Yantrasri Yojana, farm equipment at a budget of Rs 15 crore will be purchased and will direct farming initiatives on 8,000 acres of land.

Heggade stated under Vatsalya programme, the residential amenities for destitutes and other adequate facilities will be given. For the process, 10,400 destitute families have been determined and a budget of Rs. 2 crore will be allocated for the same. Further on, a sum of Rs. 10 crore has been assigned for regeneration of the 150 lakes in Karnataka.

Heggade said, “The work on Naturopathy hospital at Nelamangala in Bengaluru is in the final stage. Health services at the Naturopathy hospital will be started at the earliest. The work on the extension of the Annapoorna dining hall, online booking of Sevas and extension of commercial complex at Dharmasthala, will also be taken up.”

Nearly 250 old temples have been established under the Dharmothana Trust, which gives a Karnataka a fresh breath. Over the period of year, Rs. 14 crore has been directed to construct 1,135 temples in the state.

Heggade further spoke about the Yakshagana artistes of Dharamsthala Mela who will proceed with Seve Bayalata post the Lakshadeepotsava.
