US may initiate emergency approval for a vaccine against Coronavirus

Spread the love

The chief head of the United States Food and Drug Administration had mentioned in an interview released on Sunday about the chances of passing an early approval under emergency for the vaccine in trial against the Coronavirus. This emergency approval can be announced before the period of human clinical trials structured for safety and efficacy ends which will be requested by the vaccine developer, Stephen Hahn.

Though, Hahn has emphasized that he refrains from taking any step succumbing to any political pressure, just because Donald Trump wants an effective vaccine to be launched right before US elections scheduled in November. He mentioned, “This is going to be a science, medicine, data decision… This is not going to be a political decision.”

It is not easy to anticipate the probable outcomes during the course of clinical trials.
