Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat launched the trial operations of Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on Friday at the Secretariat for assessing the people living in isolation citing the Covid-19 virus infection for the Haridwar district.
The IVRS system is a novel approach which will help in regular monitoring of people living in isolation and simultaneously all their problems and issues will be updated in the system as per the response of the questions and queries presented by the system. By the help of the system, important questions which comprises of symptoms, testing and follow-ups can be addressed to the people, and as per the answers recorded, help and support along with medical assistance will be provided after intimation to the concerned nodal officers.
Rawat stated, “It is necessary to monitor the persons infected with Covid-19, but it should also be ensured that contact with the patient is made at the convenient time. While taking feedback, the person living in isolation should face the least difficulty.”
Alongside, the state of Uttarakhand has recorded 5,742 active cases of Covid-19, as updated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
