Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched cryogenic oxygen plant on Thursday, which is the biggest oxygen plant in Uttar Pradesh for supporting medical medical supplies to hospitals. This is a great support during the on-going crisis triggered by Coronavirus which requires constant supply of oxygen for treating patients.
As per the information given by PTI, the oxygen plant will be commissioned by INOX Air Products (INOX AP). The company stated that air separation plant with a capacity of 150 tonnes on a daily basis, situated at Modinagar in Ghaziabad, will be producing liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon.
INOX AP further stated that the plant will have the capacity to provide for the medical demands of oxygen alongside support the industrial growth in Uttar Pradesh by robust supply of the gases.
The recently inaugurated will be meeting with the oxygen requirements of over 200 hospitals and medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi Adityanath on the virtual inauguration said that the facility will aid to fight Covid-19 with better strategies in Uttar Pradesh.
Expressing his joy over the biggest plant in state, Yogi tweeted, “On this day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Jan Andolan’ for Covid-19, I am happy to inaugurate a 150 TPD capacity Liquid Oxygen Plant in Uttar Pradesh which will help us to fight Corona better.”
