On the night of November 27, around 9 p.m., the Mumbai Police Control Room received a call from an unidentified person who claimed that a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Modi was underway. Taking the threat seriously, the Mumbai police immediately took action and launched a search to track down the caller. A few days earlier, another threatening message was received by the Mumbai Traffic Control Room. This message, received at around midnight, contained a threat about Bollywood actor Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The message threatened that within a month, the person who wrote a particular song would be killed, and it would be impossible to write songs under their own name. The message further stated, “If Salman Khan has the courage, he should try to save this person.” This was the fifth threat Salman Khan had received.

Following these threats, the Mumbai police initiated an investigation, but it was later revealed that the caller’s phone had been stolen.
