Hyderabad: A tragic incident occurred during the premiere show of Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, when a stampede broke out, resulting in the death of a woman and leaving her son in critical condition.
The incident took place at the Sandhya Theater on RTC Crossroads in Hyderabad. The deceased, 39-year-old Revathi from Dilsukhnagar, had attended the event with her husband Bhaskar and their two children.
The mishap happened around 10:30 PM during the screening of the movie, where Allu Arjun made an appearance to greet fans. The overcrowding in the theater escalated into a stampede.
Police resorted to a lathi charge to control the chaotic crowd. While two people sustained injuries, Revathi tragically lost her life.
