Mandya: The 87th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana was inaugurated with grandeur in Mandya, the Sugar City, with a flag-hoisting ceremony marking the beginning of the event.
The Sammelana, which will take place over three days starting today, is being held behind Sanjo Hospital in Mandya.
The event officially commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, the state flag, and the Kannada Sahitya Parishat flag.

At 11 AM today, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will officially inaugurate the 87th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana.
