Azerbaijan and Armenia reject the decision to hold peace talks over Karabakh conflicts

Armenia and Azerbaijan are playing the blame-game with respect to firing directly into each other’s personal territory on Tuesday thereby rejecting the earlier decision of holding peace talks. This comes after the rising conflicts over the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh which invoke war-like tensions.

Both the countries attacked on their shared border region, which led to massive firing battle on Sunday between Azeri and ethnic Armenian forces. This triggered the matter to go out of hand though countries which includes Russia and USA are constantly pestering them to stop the fight.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev while addressing the Russian state television, blatantly ruled out any potential peace talks. Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, also told the same channel that peace talks would be difficult with the on-going fight.

Nagorno-Karabakh regions is within Azerbaijan but functioning under ethnic Armenians and backed by Armenia. Over dozens of people died and hundreds were injured since the fight broke out on Sunday
