Bangalore metro operations to be extended after running for limited time-frame

Bangalore metro operations to be extended after running for limited time-frame during peak hours from Friday. So, the metro trains will now operate from 7 am to 9 pm.

During the peak hours in the morning from 8 am to 11 am and evening from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm, the frequency of the metro trains will be at every five minutes. The trains will run at every 10 minutes amid the off-peak hours. The running hours are based on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines provided by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited. The same SOP guidelines will be used for operations till the present condition of Covid-19 becomes better.


The metro services had resumed on Monday with limited hours post the lockdown induced by Covid-19.
