On December 19, during the Legislative Council session at Belagavi’s Suvarna Soudha, BJP leader CT Ravi allegedly used abusive language against Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar. The incident has sparked a major political uproar in the state. An FIR has been registered against Ravi for using derogatory language offensive to women. Police arrested Ravi and subjected him to extensive questioning overnight.

Addressing the gathering, Ashoka alleged, “The Congress is turning this state into a mini-Pakistan. They have assaulted CT Ravi, a public representative. Once our government comes to power, we will ensure the police are held accountable.”
