The Central Crime Branch (CCB) interrogated Ricky Rai, the son of the former underworld don Muthappa Rai on Wednesday. This happened a day post the CCB raided his residence for further investigation on Kannada cinema drug racket case.
Ricky Rai was quizzed regarding Aditya Alva, the son of ex-minister, late Jeevaraj Alva, who has allegedly absconded after the Kannada actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani were taken into custody. The CCB also invaded Aditya’s house cum resort located in Hebbal.
The private investigators are of the idea that Ricky had contact with Aditya and had also backed up other suspects, and been a part of the VIP parties where drugs were openly devoured. The officials have captured his mobile phones and passed it for technical analysis.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the CCB investigated Ricky’s residence in Sadashivanagar with a serach warrant.
