India – China border disputes: India will suffer bigger defeat than 1962, Chinese media gives a warning

The Chinese media gives a warning that it will suffer a bigger military loss than 1962 if another war broke out with China.

According to the Global Times, On Monday, Indian Army troops had illegally crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near the southern bank of Pangong Tso Lake.

It stated that if India messes with China, then the Indian Army may have to suffer more military losses than in 1962. A spokesperson from People’s Liberation Army of China quoted, “The Indian’s side move seriously violated related agreements reached by both sides, stirred up tensions in the region, and would easily cause misunderstandings and misjudgments, which is a serious military provocation and is very vile in nature.”

China has made an immediate demand to urge withdrawal of Indian Army troops as it claims Indian army to be at its side of LAC.

Global Times, run by the Communist Party of China, exactly quotes Senior Col Zhang’ tweet mentioning that the Indian Army personnel had “outrageously fired warning shots” on the PLA border patrol soldiers. To which, the Indian army has firmly denied the allegations of opening fire at the LAC and pointed out sit was the PLA’s soldiers who “fired a few rounds in the air in an attempt to intimidate Indian troops’ on Monday.”
