International Cricket Stadium in Tumakuru: Foundation Stone Laid by CM Siddaramaiah

Tumakuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah laid the foundation stone on Monday for constructing an international cricket stadium near P. Gollahalli in Kor hobli of Tumakuru taluk.

The stadium, set to be built over 41 acres at an estimated cost of ₹150 crore, is expected to be completed within two years. The land has already been handed over to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).

The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including District In-charge Minister G. Parameshwara, Ministers K.N. Rajanna, Priyank Kharge, JD(S) Legislature Party Leader C.B. Suresh Babu, MLAs S.R. Srinivas, B. Suresh Gowda, G.B. Jyotiganesh, KSCA President Raghuram Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Shubha Kalyan, Superintendent of Police K.V. Ashok, and Zilla Panchayat CEO G. Prabhu, among others.
