US President Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2021 for the exceptional role played by him in brokering peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As per Fox News, Donald Trump’s name had been submitted by Norwegian politician Christian Tybring-Gjedde. He said, “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace prize nominees.”
Donald Trump would be having a signing ceremony on 15 September for groundbreaking Middle East agreement normalizing relations between Israel and the UAE, announced by a White House official.
As per terms of the agreement, the UAE would be signing and approving a series of trade deals and thereby establishing normal-peaceful relations with Israel. Israel has to acknowledge that and step back from its controversial plans to annex parts of West Bank.
Donald Trump was priorly nominated in 2018 for his persistent efforts in resolving North Korean nuclear disputes.
