Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has allegedly blamed BJP high command on Wednesday over issues pertaining to reshuffling or expansion of his cabinet, stating the Central leadership adhering to the party will make the decision.

This statement is coincident with the speculations of the cabinet expansion to happen in this month, is hinting at further delay in the process.

About the assured cabinet berths, Yediyurappa informed the reporters, “Regarding cabinet expansion, central leaders (of BJP) will take a decision. Someone (aspirant) might have given a statement… why should I make a promise? Naturally whoever has to become (a minister) they will become.”

BJP MLC R Shankar stated the cabinet expansion would be scheduled in the next two-three days and that he would be made the minister, post meeting with Yediyurappa on Tuesday.

But, in response to this, political secretary of Yediyurappa and MLA M P Renukacharya gave the clarity about no such discussion had taken place, and the party national General Arun Singh had directed them to wait for a significant time.

Though Yediyurappa has blamed the high command over cabinet exercise, Arun Singh post the meeting held in Shivamogga on Sunday has mentioned about the expansion of the cabinet to happen soon. Yediyurappa maintained that he has been waiting to conduct the cabinet exercise, as it was directed by BJP President JP Nadda amid the November 18 meeting.
