A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) based court hearing will give the verdict regarding the Babri mosque demolition case on September 30.
All the main accused people are required to present at the court hearing on the verdict day, as instructed by Judge SK Yadav. Some of them from the 32 accused people are former deputy prime minister L K Advani, BJP leaders – MM Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti and Vinay Katiyar.
As per the statement issued by PTI from CBI counsel Lalit Singh, the arguments from both the defense and prosecution ended on September 1. Post the hearing, the special judge proceeded towards preparing the judgement. Around 350 witnesses and 600 documentary proofs were submitted to the court by the CBI.
The karsevaks had demolished the Babri masjid on December 6, 1992.
