France is highly interested towards the collaboration with Uttar Pradesh government, supporting their ambitious planning for creating sustainable cities, defence industry and aerospace, revealed French ambassador Emmanuel Lenain.
Emmanuel Lenain visited UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath in a formal meeting on Wednesday. Yogi Aditynath tweeted, “We had a fruitful discussion regarding further strengthening the ties between France and India and forging the partnership for leveraging huge potential of Uttar Pradesh.”
To which, Emmanuel Lenain responded in a tweet, “Excellent meeting with UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Very impressed by UP dynamism.”
Following which, in a tweet, Yogi Adityanath acknowledged the ambassador’s tweet, by saying, “Had a wonderful meeting with Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India.”
Emmanuel further described his very first visit to Lucknow, and his reason to be in the city was to work on the partnership between UP and France. In another tweet, the ambassador wrote, “UP is young, dynamic, talented. We want to welcome more students from UP in France and have more French companies invest in UP.”
He further praised Alliance Francaise de Lucknow, saying, “The Alliance Française of Lucknow is the youngest in India but already very active thanks to its dynamic team and president Zohra Chatterji! Learning French opens doors to exciting study and job opportunities.”
At the reception held for Lenain on Wednesday, memorandums of understandings (MoUs) were formalized between Alliance Francaise de Lucknow and collaborating organizations, work towards promoting French language and culture, said AFL director, Prof Meeta Ghosh.
Amit Gupta, head of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commercial Industry (FICCI), UP State Council, signed the MoUs between AFL and FICCI.Another MoU was formalized amid AFL and Mohammed Abudullah, who is presently MD of Hotel Lebus, which backs-up AFL in various collaborations.
