The Supreme Court (SC) will be declaring the orders on Tuesday pertaining to the recently passed farm laws and the currently going on protests of the farmers along the borders of New Delhi and will direct to formulate a committee which will led by ex-Chief Justice of India for resolving the issues.
A bench of judges led by Chief Justice S A Bobde, hinted on releasing the orders in parts regarding the farm laws and the farmers protesting and the comprehensive details were uploaded on the website.
The bench stated, “List these matters tomorrow i.e. 12.01.2021, for orders.” The judges also include justices A S Bopanna and V Ramasubramaniam. The bench had heard a number of petitions on Monday which were challenging the contentious farm laws and regarding the difficulty for regular commuters amid the road blockades happening amid the protests. Also, the petitions highlighted the rising disappointment with respect to handling of the situation by the Centre, it added. The bench also said about it going with the implementations of the controversial laws and also refused for permitting additional time frame for the Centre for reaching an amicable resolution iterating on the already give time to the Centre for the same.
