The Union Health Ministry has released the most recent updates about India’s Covid-19 testing capacity, which has increased to over 12 lakh people daily. Till now, the country has completed testing over 6.5 crore people.
The Ministry of Health tweeted, “India’s testing capacity has surged to more than 12L daily tests. Higher than 6.5 cr tests have been conducted across the country.”
The tweet also released the information about the top 14 states having higher tests per million and lower positivity rate than India Average starting with Mizoram at 2.4 % positivity rate and ending with Uttarakhand at 7.4 % rate.
The fourteen states included are Mizoram, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Sikkim, Tripura, Jammu & Kashmir (UT), Odisha, Assam, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
